Irritech was proud to be part of the 2026 Royal Show at their new home, Tweedie Hall in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal – celebrating agriculture, innovation and the people who keep our industry growing.
It provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with our local farming community, strengthen relationships with existing clients and introduce visitors to the wide range of irrigation solutions and services we offer.
A highlight of our stand was having two of our valued industry partners, Netafim and Valley Irrigation, alongside us, bringing irrigation technology to life. Together, we showcased technology at work, demonstrating how modern irrigation solutions are helping farmers improve efficiency, optimise water usage and embrace smarter farming practices. From precision drip irrigation and centre pivot systems to automation and advanced water management technology, visitors had the opportunity to see how innovation and practical farming solutions come together.
We were also proud to showcase Irritech’s locally manufactured cane coverer, highlighting our in-house steel fabrication capabilities and our commitment to providing practical, innovative equipment for the agricultural industry. The Royal Show provided an excellent platform to demonstrate not only the products and technology we offer, but also the strength of our partnerships and the diverse capabilities of the Irritech Group.
Beyond the technology, the Royal Show is about people. It was a pleasure welcoming farmers, families, industry partners and future generations of agricultural enthusiasts to our stand. We particularly enjoyed creating an interactive space where younger visitors could experience a little of the world of irrigation, encouraging curiosity and interest in the agricultural industry.
For Irritech, events like the Royal Show are an important reminder of the relationships that have helped shape our business over the years. Our 2026 theme, “Rooted in Growth, Flowing with Purpose,” was reflected in our presence at the show. Since 1992, Irritech has grown from its KwaZulu-Natal roots to serve agricultural communities across South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania. While our footprint has expanded, our commitment to quality, innovation, service and lasting relationships remains at the heart of everything we do.
